Still confined

Tuesday 9th February 2021 – Well, the weeks seem to be passing quickly and I can see that Spring is trying to present itself with daffs in the garden, but we are still confined, not on full lockdown like the UK as we can see up to 6 people in our houses but restaurants and bars are closed. I have been busy doing a lot of needle felting, the results of which I cannot reveal as I am being very forward thinking and preparing for next Christmas. However here are a few other things I have been up to.

A rag rug made with odd lengths of fabric I already had

A pair of dungarees or salopette in French. I loved making these and will be doing more
A pencil drawing of my lovely Mum when she was a young lady. I intended to do a painting and this is on very thick watercolour paper. I am not sure how to tackle it without losing the pencil marks
Jenny G is the only person to send me their creations so far this year. This is a lovey watercolour
