What a busy morning! … and so many different crafts being done, cork boards, christmas cards, paper bowls, decoupage, papier maché,water colour, rug making, painting on ceramic ….
Mary was very productive painting a sign and a box

… and finally, even though Brigid could not come this week she was still doing crafts
This morning, Hannah, Niamb and Jacob joined us – the girls were using the stamps and Jacob painted a beautiful watercolour

Birgitta had made some beautiful vintage tiles with just serviettes, pva glue and varnish
Maisie joined us on Tuesday morning and was doing decoupage
On Thursday morning Jackie was painting her watercolour fish and in the afternoon, Jan was continuing with her acrylic

I was trying acrylics again on a watercolour block – I found it quite difficult after watercolour and oil
A few of us went to see Jan Hagen today, she is a textile artist and colourist. Here are some examples of her beautiful work and we are lucky that she is going to do a needle felting workshop at Jeudi Art this Autumn and next Spring she will be doing a day’s workshop teaching painting on fabric. The dates are yet to be fixed.
