Jane did a beautiful water colour and Sue did this stunning water colour of her dog
I think this fishing boat painting is finished – I stuck the net on with the paint, so we will see whether it stays there
… and this painting just evolved during the afternoon, not sure whether to put some houses in it

Bee has finished her pears – she used water-based oil paints – a new phenomena
Helen brought in a rag doll that she had bought at a market which had no face – so Mary painted one – beautiful
Jan has finished her shrimps and I did a water colour and an oil – which isn’t finished
Acrylic with Texture
This morning John Rogers came and did a demonstration on acrylics using texture. He splashed some acrylic paint onto clear plastic and glued it onto the canvas, peeling off the plastic to reveal the shapes underneath
After a spot of lunch we all had a go in the afternoon – the results are interesting!

Margaret brought me some beautiful sunflowers on Tuesday which prompted some lovely work
