A busy Tuesday morning with knitting …
Frances finished her infinity scarf and Joy is modelling
Another peek into Mary’s work box – her ribbon stash
Brigitte was painting a cute little box and Mary was making i-pad cases
Cas had been making cards – and knitting – it was a theme this morning
Bee has finished her pears – she used water-based oil paints – a new phenomena
Helen brought in a rag doll that she had bought at a market which had no face – so Mary painted one – beautiful
Jan has finished her shrimps and I did a water colour and an oil – which isn’t finished
This morning John Rogers came and did a demonstration on acrylics using texture. He splashed some acrylic paint onto clear plastic and glued it onto the canvas, peeling off the plastic to reveal the shapes underneath
After a spot of lunch we all had a go in the afternoon – the results are interesting!
Margaret brought me some beautiful sunflowers on Tuesday which prompted some lovely work
some knitting, weaving, ceramic painting and cork work
A painted box, pastel work and delicate water colours
… and Bee is getting on really well with the pears – love it!
I love peeking into people’s work boxes
Three of us were painting pears this week
Jane was painting the same picture in water colour and then acrylic – why not!
… and Mary had finished the embroidered cat
M for Maisie
Two ‘flowers in jam jars’ – both water colour
Two cats – Mary’s is exquisitely embroidered and mine is water coloured
… and another doorway
I’ve been a bit slow in posting as it’s the summer and lots going on. So many different things
