We were doing watercolour this morning, Anne was still doing her coastal scene and Mary started to paint a picture frame

Stuart was continuing with the chest
I changed the surf boards for a boat in my ‘wave’ painting
Whilst sorting out the cupboard I found two paintings that I had done years ago – I put them in the gallery and promptly sold one!
Viv is progressing with her hawk moth/humming bird painting
… and Eric started a new one
Mary was working on a new box, Jan was doing a stunning painting in acrylic this time and I finished the ‘big wave’ in oil
Me and Jackie were also using watercolour, I was trying out a new Arches watercolour block

Stuart and Michelle joined us again together with Trisha and Amber. They were renovating an old trunk
Some interesting work today. Anne’s painting is really taking shape, Eric was doing a bit of Degas, Jan was doing an abstract, Mary was painting on fabric and I was trying to capture a vibrant wave scene
Lots of work in preparation. Tuesday morning has become rather more of a community café – lots of chat and some lovely cake this week with our morning coffee or tea.

This week at the art group, Eric finished the Venice picture and we were joined by Hannah and Nieve on Thursday morning
This week Mary was painting a gorgeous picture on linen and then she went back to her Japanese lady
Eric was progressing with his painting of Venice and Anne with her coastal view, Jan was doing water colour and her mum was using coloured pencils. Hillary and Margaret were doing decoupage, I had finished the cows and started a sailing picture on some mdf.
